Bio

My name is Adaecus Brooks, I’m an Active-Duty Marine with over 21 years of service, and an artistic background in fine art (drawing/sketching), photography, and graphic design. Because of my military occupation/career, my photographic specialties revolve around forensics, scenery, portraits, and photojournalism. My graphic design capabilities in logo design, web and print layout stem from my already inherited knowledge in drawing and photography, along with training from Syracuse University, Rasmussen University, and now Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). My skillsets in programs include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and CorelDraw.

As I prepare to transition/retire from the military next summer, my immediate goals are to obtain my bachelor’s in graphic design and media arts via SNHU, and a civilian career in graphic design post-retirement – at least since the age of 5, art has always been part of my life and I’d love to maintain it, especially now that I’m witnessing my own children discover their own abilities.
