These projects demonstrate my graphic design skills in creating a magazine cover, a flyer, a promotional ad, and brand-style pieces for a popular restaurant. I can help elevate a design to help attract more clients and customers to increase your business.
Play Magazine Cover-I have created a magazine cover for a kids’ magazine that promotes the newest kids’ toys and fashion. I have made the adorable baby the main focal point followed by the title of the cover named “Play” which features exciting information on the left side followed by the huge sign that says “Spring Is Here” which helps display the seasonal collection. The typography I have used for this advertisement is called Jokerman. The typography is a great look to give that childish, playful, and cute tone to a kid’s ad.
Amethyst Bay Resort– This project is an advertisement flyer to help promote the brand’s business in gaining new and more clients for the Amethyst Spa Resort. I used Adobe Photoshop to create the flyer. The quality is clear and not pixelated. It helps with advertising the spa resort through the beautiful background image with palm trees, sunny weather, and crystal blue water helping create a sense of peace and relaxation. I cropped the back from a different picture to help promote the special offer. This can help generate more business and potentially more customers to the spa. The usage of color from the brand style guide helps create a tropical and cool setting. The colors blue and green correlate with nature.
Heart- This project was about creating a flyer or form of signage for our very own graphic design business. My idea was about promoting my own handmade card business since I love to create and draw birthday cards, Valentine’s Day cards etc. I came up with the name “Heart” because I’m very passionate about creating my cards and you can feel the hard work that it takes to create one. I make them in a way with love because the goal is to communicate a happy, cheerful mood for that specific occasion. I used Adobe Photoshop to crop and edit the images such as the cake, champagne bottle, glasses, and presents by a clipping mask.
Pasta Amore- For the table tent, I have created visual hierarchy by making the logo bigger at the top of the page. Then, the attention grabber phrase follows by the delicious pasta dish. Your eyes should move along the design from top to bottom. I used the beige cannoli background color to create more emphasis on the logo. The typography is elegant and the right choice for the restaurant.
Pasta Amore– In the brochure, I incorporated more pictures to show the food once again as the focal point. I added the picture of the family sitting at the table enjoying their meal together and having a great time to show unity and family dynamics. I wanted it to reflect the brand’s purpose in creating a welcoming atmosphere that Pasta Amor has to offer for families and the community. For the inside design, I placed the food in the center for display for the customers to see a little sneak peek of the delicious mouth-watering food choices. I added the cheesecake pictures to create that sense of balance between the text and images.
Pasta Amore- This project was about creating the brand pieces for the restaurant Pasta Amore. We had to incorporate the brand style guide in order to create these pieces. The first piece on the left is my menu, I used the pictures of the popular Italian dishes in the background to show their love and passion for food. It helps create a lovely, warm, and inviting environment. I included the colors from the client’s brief to demonstrate the Italian Flag. Thus, making the logo and the information in the middle of the flag, helps bring emphasis on the food.
