These projects both demonstrate the usage of typography and how the layout can help communicate a certain message or mood.

Marilyn Monroe– This project is to create a typography portrait of the famous person my choice was the Hollywood actress, Marilyn Monroe. I used her movie titles, famous quotes, and descriptive words to best form her face. I used the program Adobe Illustrator in order to help create the curve typography lines to create facial features such as her curly hair, famous mole, and seductive eyes. By using the elements of design. I create the visual texture for her hair and a sense of rhythm.

How Do I Deal?– This project was from a typography class we had to use words and letters to help create visual hierarchy. We had to select a poem that means something to us and used the words to help construct the layout. I used Adobe In design for this project. It represents loss, grief, and depression because the poem at the time reflects’s a difficult time for me. I lost a close loved one and this poem help with the grieving stage and hurt. I wanted to grab the audience’s attention and tap into their emotion with a serious question of How do I deal? It’s almost a question to them on how they would act and behave in the same situation, o
