3D Modeling

For this 3-D Modeling project, I was tasked with creating a video game asset of my choice in 3DS Max. Inspired by my love for JRPGs, I came up with a longsword called the “Light of Azura.” In the beginning stages of the design process, I came up with concept art in which the sword is meant to be made up of a high carbon Damascus steel, a golden handle that extends from the base to the end, a blue crystal heart at the core of its base, and blue leather wrappings around the handle.

For this 3-D Modeling Project, I was tasked with creating a video game asset utilizing Maya. In addition to creating the model, I was also asked to add texture maps to create a more realistic looking item. I chose to create a magic tome book with a leather binding and golden bevel accents.
