Sisters Precious and Kaiya approached me to create illustrations to promote their new podcast “The Ghost Among Us Podcast.” The podcast hosted by the sisters focuses on retelling of ghost stories and urban legends – but with laughs abound. Balancing spooky elements with humor was key in the final images created in Procreate.
Season One
The illustration for the first season of “The Ghost Among Us Podcast” captures the fun of the podcast with the spooky theme. The likenesses of the podcast hosts are included in a cartoon style that presents their personalities. These images were modified with the title of each week’s episode to promote on social media.
Season Two
For season two, the sisters wanted to take the show on the road and visit the locations of their stories. The illustration was revamped to reflect this theme, placing our hosts in the driver and passenger seat with an unexpected stowaway in the back.
