Japanese Wood-Block Printing by the Japanese Method article


This class assignment gave the text to an article, while the layout and design was left up to the student. Inspired by traditional Japanese Wood-Block printing, research led to Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. His famous public domain work The Great Wave off Kanagawa was used to inspire the imagery and coloring of the whole design. Programs used: Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.

Imperfect Foods is a food subscription box. For this school assignment, I created a mailer that advertised holiday products to subscribed members. Included is a paper ornament of a reindeer eating the company’s icon, a imperfect carrot.

Imperfect Foods is a grocery subscription company that focuses on lowering food crop waste. This is an informational brochure targeted towards new customers that explains how to order products and also the company’s origin store. Learning Disability Association Advertising Campaign

This student project was about creating 3 campaign posters for a company of our choice. This series of advertisements is for the Learning Disability Association. The campaign was called “No more silence. Be heard.” which focused on educating and showcasing various Learning Disabilities through imagery. Programs Used: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Indesign.
