Traditional Art

My interest in design started from my love of drawing, painting, printing, and other traditional art form methods. Here are few of my latest works. I tend to create black and white pieces of art because of the intense contrast that it creates, which also creates intense emotions and feelings.

My favorite piece called “Somber”, which shows an elephant, drawn with charcoal, with gold leafing on the tusk. This piece is about the endangered animals that are effected by poaching. The gold leafing on the tusk represents the value in the product, but when looking deeper into the artwork, you can start to see the sad expression in the eye of the elephant. This piece won 2nd place and a cash award at the student art exhibition at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2022.
