Artist’s Biography
Sean Ryan McLeroy was born in the 1980’s in Southern California. Throughout his childhood, he moved many times, giving him an appreciation for a variety of styles of artwork and design. Most notably, in 2005, he took the opportunity to move internationally and ended up spending more than a decade in Northeast China. His experiences travelling and visiting locations such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Thailand, Korea, as well as meeting a large number of expats from many countries has inspired his own unique art style!
Initially self-taught, Sean mainly focused upon 2d illustration and graphic design. Beginning in 2022, he decided to enhance and formalize his skills, and began attending Southern New Hampshire University, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design. He’s since incorporated and learned additional design styles and theories, including 2D collage, 3D sculpting, and typography among others. He is proficient in the use of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Maya, Mudbox, InDesign, as well as a host of design freeware.
