This journal space is where I reflect on my design growth, process discoveries, and creative challenges. From moments of breakthrough to the times I had to step back and rethink everything, each entry is a snapshot of how Iām evolving as a designer and storyteller.

Entry 1: The Power of Pause
Sometimes I have to pauseānot because Iām uninspired, but because Iām overstimulated. During my Future Funds project, I had to step back and really ask: āWhat do users need to feel safe and confident here?ā That pause helped me lean into clean space, calming tones, and bold but simple CTAs. Less was more, and Iām proud of that realization.
Entry 2: Flowing with Divine Wisdom
The Divine Wisdom cover started from a mood, not a plan. I was listening to soft music, reflecting on legacy and femininity, and suddenly the colors, type, and textures started speaking. I didnāt rush it. I flowed with it. Thatās when I knew I wasnāt just designingāI was channeling something deeper. And I want more of that in my work.
Entry 3: Designing Through Doubt
Not every design day is confident. There are times I open my canvas and just stare. But Iāve learned that doubt is part of my processāit slows me down just enough to think deeper. The Zumiez Newsletter taught me how to design in layers: style, energy, structure, tone. Even when Iām unsure, I keep creating. Thatās the muscle Iām building.
